Personality toward other people: Y’all need to take things easy. Go with the flow. Until I drown you all with that flow which I created out of sheer genius! Evil? No not really. Good? Not that either. A megalomaniac with too much time on his hands? Most definitely. Boredom tends to take up a lot of Ruse’s time and when you have a diabolical priest bored, then even the gods run.

Background/RP Sample

Background: Ruse was born to the wife of a sailor who then for the want of money, sold Ruse to the temple of the sea god, Mal. In being sold, Ruse was now an unwilling acolyte of that god and so his ambitions grew with his first diabolical plan at age five. This plan’s overall objective was to get Ruse to the position of High Priest as fast as possible. He worked hard earning his way up the ranks through studying of the power of the priests, different languages, and self-defense combat. What you do not see is all of the misfortunate accidents which befell the rest of the higher ranked priests. Notice: The author of this biography can neither confirm nor deny what has just been said.

What Ruse did not imagine was how far reaching his diabolical plan was and he was caught off guard when he was appointed High Priest. And like any human, Ruse had finally made a mistake, he became too ambitious. He decided to challenge his god’s seat power, seeking to become the new god. Unfortunately for him Mael already knew all of this, since he was the original creator of the diabolical plan. They met in single combat under the sea. A flash of cleverness came to both their eyes at the same time and Ruse, the strongest High Priest out there was sent swirling away in a typhoon and was left spluttering on this new continent.

RP Sample: Curses, upon thousands of curses. The plan was perfect! Absolutely beyond a shadow of a doubt! “AND YET HE KNEW ABOUT IT!!!” This last phrase was screamed up at the sky by a young of man in priestly garb who was soaked to the bone from his harrowing ride on the typhoon which seems to have dropped him on a different continent far away from home. “How? How?!?!” These musings were much quieter, reflecting a process of diabolical thought going through the man’s head. The man decided that his god had actually shown interest in the man’s plans and decided to impress his high priest for own of his own schemes. The irony was not lost on the white-haired young man as he finally sat up from the sand on the beach. “Fine, you want me to do this? I’ll do it! And beyond your own expectations! I shall come back for my rematch, witness!” The man shook his fist in self-righteous anger at the now calm sea behind him. Somewhere under the sea, a god chuckled at his servant’s antics. Back again on the beach, the priest heard a sound coming from the waves, his eyes narrowed in suspicion. That sounded suspiciously like laughter, thought the priest and he cursed and spat into the sea as his response to his god. His fury at how the immortal had tricked him into doing this, quite evident as the priest stood on his two feet and began jumping up and down with great vigor trying to damage the sandy beach in someway and waving his arms around. Finally quieting down, the priest scooped up his staff which was laying close by and began walking inland his every breath an imaginative litany of curses at his ambition and at his god, but mostly at his god.
