The Beings... [Event]

Cold dark sticky mist wafted through the corridors and alleyways of the Village Hidden in the Sands as the dark revolting power drifted outwards from its horrible core. The assault would happen without warning as beggars, and nightowls were caught without warning. Houses with window's open, invaded by sickly mist that invaded their skin, causing it to rapidly decay, their blood pumping furiously as rage and adrenaline took over.

The screams awoke the rest as their warning beacon as the Kazekage quickly alerted all able bodied ninja to assess the situation. Of the five squadrons that left, only two returned. The Kazekage, alarmed at the stories the men and women told, the injuries they had sustained, the crazy look their eyes were slowly garnering, all took their toll on the man as he stumbled back away from his nin. They looked at him as though he were crazy until they felt the adverse affects on their bodies and hunched over in pain as they were transformed into grotesque beasts.

The men, women and children fled into the night, running from the dark sickly mist, and the beings it contained. It seemed almost unrealistic until one came crashing out of the thick wall that shrouded them and charged at the crowd only to be stopped by a quick kunai. The screams of pain and terror multiplying by the minute frightened them furiously as they ran as fast as their legs could carry. For they knew, if they were caught in that mist, it would be all over.

As there is a cloudy dark sticky mist. A young ninja appears with a huge buster blade on his back he appears in a anbu uniform but no mask and wearing green and black."this seems like a big problem"

Serene was just walking along the road regularly when she heard the screams. Startled, she drew her boomerang from her back and ran to the scene. She was shocked to see the attack on the villagers. Serene simply froze and she almost dropped her weapon. She just stared, hoping that none of those beasts would attack. If they did, she would have to fight.

The zombies all stopped and stared at the two unaffected people. Incessant groans can be heard from every direction as zombies advanced from in front of them, behind them, and to the sides of them. Their decaying hands reaching towards them in need of the lifeblood which the two ninja have. The ironic thing is that the zombies have no need for blood, but who can reason with zombies?

Once the zombies started approaching, Serene realized that she had to fight. She was still a bit nervous, but she regained some composure. The zombies were slightly slow, but they were still villagers. However, there seems to be no way of returning them to their original forms.

"I will just have to put them out of their misery... I am sorry, Kazekage..."

She jumped up high in the air and threw her boomerang as it flew in an arc, clearing a group of zombies as it cut them staight in half.

"Letting them suffer any further will endager the village..."

She landed and caught the boomerang. There were still a lot around her and the other ninja.

"Hey, you... I may need some help here..."

Kochi had wandered into the village in the hopes that he could steal some food he word no shoes or shirt and the shorts he wore were worn and ragged holes littered them and dirt was smeared over his body from his time in the forest he looked around terrified of the noises he had heard earlier and even heard some screams his dark yellow cat like eyes seem to be looking everywhere at once as he looked around he saw some kind od horde of beastly creatures he stood stuck in place he looked like a deer caught in the headlights of a car he wanted to run before the creatures saw him but he was too afraid to move

The zombies momentarily paused at the site of the creature, but the nearest ones to the cat human suddenly gained some energy and launched themselves at the cat and began chewing it. The other zombies concentrated their attention on the other humans and began to encircle them, once completed they began to approach them slowly but surely. The zombies who were cut in half by the boomerang simply dragged their body parts with them.

"They cannot be destroyed..."

Serene saw the cat human and threw her bommerang at him. The zombies' heads were cut off and the cat human barely got hit. She ran towards him and offered her hand.

"If you don't stand up, you'll get in harm's way... Trust me, I'm an ally..."

Kochi fell back as the zombies leaped only to be cut down by a huge boomerang which had cut open his forehead slightly the blood dripped over his left eye he didnt think he had been bitten anywhere by the zombies thanks to the bommerang as the girl offered her hand to him he shrunk away like he was afraid of getting hit he stood up and backed away from her his instincts telling him to run away from everything as quickly as he could but to where he thought to himself as he looked at all of the creatures still left it was hopeless he thought

"The zombies cannot be destroyed by simply cutting them down. We need some kind of offensive jutsus that deal significant damage... Which I cannot do, of course, since I'm still an academy student..."

She smiled as she crouched down and faced him.

"Let's be clear... We need each other to survive..."

The zombies once again close in on the trio, the one's who were closer to the taller male launched themselves at him chewing his stomach and biting at his throat and head. The rest of them focused on the two remaining humans and began their unstoppable march to feast on flesh.

Kochi saw them all coming and closed his eyes tightly as he grabbed onto Serene's arm "ahhhh!!!!" he yelled loudly as he expelled a burst of pure chakra from around his body in the form of a bubble that pushed everything that he wasnt touching away from him the zombies if hit would be sent flying backwards before they got within a foot of either him or serene

"Hey, that was a nice move..."

She pressed her palm onto her boomerang and focused wind chakra. It gave the boomerang a slight green tinge and a slight breeze could be felt. Serene prepared to throw it at the zombies.

"This might not do much.. but if I can't kill you by cutting you in half..."

Serene threw the boomerang as she stretched her arm to direct its flight path to hit the zombies multiple times.

"... I might just cut you into pieces!"

The zombies were pushed away from the bubble, but now they closed in on the two. If they couldn't get at them now, they will get at them later. Being the undead gives them the ability to be extremely patient and so they wait in hunger for the cat's chakra to run out, then they will rush in as one and tear the two humans apart for their hunger cannot be satisfied. The boomerang did not do much except create more zombies with some limbs missing.

Kochi had his eyes closed he couldnt open them he could smell the blood in the air and if he saw it he would go into one of his fits of temporary insanity it wouldnt be good if that happened for anyone he would charge the creatures and most likely be killed easily he kept aware of his surroundings each time the creatures came in close he shot out a chakra bubble but he couldnt last forever they needed to get out and fast

"Damn.. I forgot that..."

She caught the boomerang once it got back and looked at the cat human. They had to run for now, they needed a plan or some help from the Kazekage. He might have information on those creatures.

"Come on, we have to fall back..."

More zombies came to partake of the flesh, where to run, hmm? Can you hide? The bubbles did not do much to the zombies, a few zombies with parts of their brains still functioning had picked up some spear and they began to pop the bubble, so they could get to their obsession.

Kochi felt his chakra go away and became terrified he couldnt open his eyes to see he could only do one thing he coated his arm in chakra and suddenly moved forward smashing it forward into the chest of a creature sending it backward into all the other creatures knocking them over the girl would have to clear the path with that destructive boomerang

"Come on, open your eyes!"

She sighed and prepared to figt the zombies. Serene had a plan. However, it won't be pretty.... at least for her. It might work.

"I'll hold them out so they stay here and they don't stray away to infect other villagers... You go and get help..."

Unfortunately for the two of them, the zombies rushed them seeing warm flesh now vunerable. The zombies from the sides rushed in, from the back they rushed in, and from the fron they rushed in. Bodies upon bodies of zombies dogpiled the two humans and any efforts by them will most likely result in even more zombies eating them.

Kochi forced a small a very small sphere of chakra around him and Serene he still had not opened his eyes and when the zombies started to dogpile onto of the chakra sphere he spun it around incredibly fast and threw the sphere into the air sending any zombie near flying away his breathing was ragged now as he was beginning to tire out

More zombies simply dogpiled on top of them and renewed their eating of the young humans. A seemingly endless amount of them streamed in forming a second wave from all sides after these first ones, hoping for a taste of warm flesh and the blood it contains.

Once more zombies dogpiled, she focused her chakra and the wind around them became stronger. Small gusts of wind appeared all around her, blowing away all remaining zombies around them.

"You have to open your eyes and seek help... I know you can do it... Your chakra is running low and you can't fight for long. I'll handle them for now, just go and get help."

The second wave surged forward en masse replacing those who were blown away pretty fast. They wanted a taste of flesh and were very determined to get it. The two humans certainly coudn't keep this up for much more longer and their predatory instincts knew this.

Kochi didnt look when he sent his chakra out he felt buildings earlier he jumped to the side and caught onto the side of a building and climbed up it like a monkey until he reached the top which was rather quickly before yelling down "i cant open my eyes" his voice was almost a rasp it sounded like he hadnt spoken in years which he hadnt

"That's just great...."

Serene ran away from the area hopefully to get the zombies in a compact formation so she can mow down more with one throw. She was obviously faster than the zombies because of her slim build and her wind affinity could help her get even faster.

"You guys want flesh? Come and get it!"

Another unfortunate series of events happens for the two humans, one a mass of zombies were at the window and were clambering out so they could launch themselves off the roof at the humans and so after seeing the two humans on their roof and they began to move with some energy and in a very small space of time around 20 zombies were on top of the roof which was not meant to hold such weight and it caved in, taking the zombies and the humans down with it.

Kochi grew up in the forests he swung from tree's daily and many times he had fallen because a branch had broken under him after years he didnt have this problem he leaped from the roof just before it caved in as he felt it ready to go he landed onto another roof barely as he couldnt see anything he heard the other roof cave in and finally opened his eyes he stared directly at the roof so he could see the creatures or the blood that had been spilled

When she saw the zombies in the window and that the roof caved in, she realized that this was her opportunity to strike. She threw her boomerang and hit the zombies hanging from the windows, closing it at the same time, and as the boomerang arced to return to her, it also hit the mob of zombies approaching her and it mowed through a lot of their front line. She caught the boomerang and started running again. It would hopefully buy her some time.

Kochi ran on the roof of the building his movements were agile and very flexible as he sprung from roof to roof he mimiced the movements of the animals he had seen flee from people before as he followed the girl from the roof he looked bback at the creatures only for a second before running even faster and dropping from the roofs gracefully and landing nect to the girl his yellow cat like eyes were wide with fear and his body was covered in sweat but he had to keep running he knew

"Hey, calm down... The zombies are slow, you don't need to be so nervous..."

She ran closer to him and thought of a plan. Then, she had an idea. It might clear the zombies for a while, then they can part ways for now. It was impossible for them to finish the zombies, there were just too much of them.

"When I give the signal... I will throw my boomerang and you keep running no matter what happens, got it?"

Kochi looked at her his eyes still wide with terror he only wanted to come into the village get some food maybe some sweets but instead he got wrapped up into this killing spree of monsters and death he nodded quickly just wanting to get out of here he would have done anything he didnt want to die yet

"Wait for it...."

She stopped on her trail and prepared her boomerang.

"Now..."

The zombies were approaching fast and she gave the signal. Hopefully, Kochi will keep running. He seemed scared enough. This was the time for her to go and run to the other side. She threw her boomerang and dashed forward as the boomerang mowed through the zombies, making a clear path.

Kochi dropped to all fours and suddenly his speed almost doubled he moved with the lightness of a squirell the speed of a wild cat and the agility of a wolf through the mess of zombies the girl had cut down easily his terror only drove him faster and harder through the creatures he jumped and landed on a building he looked back briefly to see what the girl was going to do now she had let him get away but what would she do the creatures would get back up quickly

Serene smiled as she jumped up to catch her boomerang. With extreme precision and great speed, she spun around once and threw her boomerang once again to hit the foot of a small house. It fell down on some zombies and made some space for her to step on. She caught the boomerang once it started to some back and she looked around as she jumped on the house that fell down.

"Now to find some help..."
