Doing Nothing

Kohaku leaned against one of the ways of the alley with her arms crossed. Her golden eyes pierced easily through the dark as her jet back hair cascaded down her back and blew gently in the wind. She sighed and tilted her head back to look at the sky. Man, Konoha could be boring...

He is walking down 5th street near the Guard wall when he picks up a familiar scent. He jumps onto a large building and looks down on the west district of the village.

She rolled her shoulders and cracked her neck as she examined her hands. Her fingers were slightly cut, and her left wrist was bruised but not badly. That last mission wasn't even a challenge. With her clans curse on her side, she could tear through people without a second thought. Being part of the Leaf was a lot easier than she thought it was gonna be. However, all these missions didn't leave her with much time to relax or have a social life. Not like she had one as a missing-nin beforehand.

He smiles slightly and looks into a alley. Gotcha He jumps into the alley and looks at kohaku then leans against a wall to see if she would notice him.

She sniffed the air once then smirked, tilting her head to the left slightly so she could see the familiar figure. "Well well..." She said, pushing her back off the wall so she was standing up straight. "It's been a while since i've seen you, hasn't it?" She told him with a raised eyebrow before approaching him with a rare smile.

"Yeah missions are getting stacked up so i have to catch up. What about you, you havent been visiting me. Whats up?"
He gets off the wall and walks toward her.

"The same here, to be honest," She said with a sigh and a shrug. "Things are really mounting up. Besides, people are still looking for me remember? So i can't show my face too often in case one of their messengers find me and report back to them," She explained as she closed the gap between them. "I would've visited if i had the time,"

He smiles.
"Yeah but what i dont understand is how do you live with me and your never home?"

She rubbed the back of her neck. "By the time you get home from your missions, i'm out on one myself. I suppose its bad timing," She said with a slight smile as she tilted her head slightly. "But we're both here now, right? Thats sorta what counts here," She pointed out to him.

He steps closer and smiles.
"Yeah..I missed those golden eyes of yours."

She smiled softly, nodding. "I missed basically every part of you. I didn't think it was possible for me to get so attached to somebody," She chuckled slightly, stepping a little closer herself. Those golden eyes Kai loved so much glistened happily, a strange emotion for someone who didnt even know how to be happy a few months ago.

He puts his hands on her hips and looks into her eyes.
"Wanna take this day off?"

She thought about it for a moment, grinning slightly. "Hmmm..." She mused before nodding. "Sure, couldnt hurt to take a day off once in a while," She chuckled, kissing him on the cheek. "What do you wanna do then?" She asked him.

"Anything and everything.."

"Oh, thats very descriptive," She joked. "Well...How about we head home for a while? That way we can both be at home at the same time for once," She murmured, looking up at him with curious eyes.

"Fine, by the way where is your robe?"
He holds her hand and begins to walk out the alley toward the manor.

"On the couch. My latest mission was a bit on the harsh side so i didn't want it getting wrecked," She explained to him as they walked, ignoring some of the weird looks she got from people they passed. Some people didn't like how quiet she was, others just didnt think she deserved to be with a Senju.

He closes his eyes and smiles.
"Okay so what rank did they give you and I apologize for not making it in time for you to join the village."

"Since i was an A-Rank Missing Nin at the time, they stuck me with ANBU," She told him with a shrug. "It's only a rank, to be honest. I couldnt care less if they sent me back to the Academy," She told him, giving his hand a gentle squeeze. "I don't mind, its fine Kai, really it is,"

"Thats amazing. Hokage appointed you in Anbu. Congratulations."
He goes in to kiss her but is a little skeptical because he hasn't done it in awhile.

She smiled slightly. "Thanks, it means a lot coming from you," She said and blinked slightly as he leaned in towards her then stopped. She chuckled slightly at his hesitance then leaned up a little herself, putting her lips to his to save him the trouble of wondering if he should do it.

He chuckles and gets her a eager look.
"Wanna race?"

She smirked and sent him an equally eager look back. "Heh, you're on. Any prizes for the winner? Or maybe punishments for the loser?" She asked, wondering if he was thinking of making it that sort of competition.

"If I win your my slave for the day. If you win itll be whatever you please.."

She laughed. "I don't mind that," She said as she made sure nobody was in the way. "Alright...On your marks," She began, getting ready to run. "Get set..." She continued, smirking. "...GO!" She finally yelled, taking off at a steady run. She wondered if he would be able to beat her.
