Thea's Pad

I hear birds chirping, before I even open my eyes. I want to drift off again, but I know I won't be able to sleep. So I slowly open my eyes, and sit up in my bed. I swing my legs over the side of the bed and stand up quickly, too quickly. I fell back on my bed and groan. This time I stand up slower. I look around. My floor was coverd in dirty clothes, and shoes, and other random items. "I'll clean it later...." I mutter, just like every other morning. I made some toast and then ploped down on my old couch, and just stared out the window as I ate.

A tall Kumo nin standing at 7'2 foot with a massive scythe on his back was walking the streets in boredum. Sticking from the side of his lips were longer than average canine at least 3cm long in length. he yawned loudly. He walked up a pair of stairs and sat beneath a Sakura tree across from someones house. He yawned and looked up at the clouds.

I watched the man walking by my window. How intresting... I thought looking at his scythe.

Makai had closed his eyes. Cherry blossoms floated down around him. he grabbed his scythe with one hand and placed it beside him with a loud clank. The ground around him shook. Cherry blososms covered the grass. Makai yawned again. His face was peaceful as he slept.

I hopped off of my couch, and stepped outside. I looked over at him and saw he was asleep. "I wonder if he minds if I take a look..." I tiptoed closer to him so as to examine the scythe.

Makai continued to sleep blissfuly. He seemed to be unaware to the fact someone was walking up to his scythe. His mouth was open a bit revealing his longer than average canine.

"Oh...wow. That's amazing!" My eyes lit up as I got closer. I glanced over at his face, and saw his teeth gleaming. Wow look those chopers! I didn't want to startle him awake.

Makai's eyes snapped open. he instantly saw the girl standing over him. he spoke in a low calm voice, "Who are you?" His arms were by his side. His eyes were a dark shade of blood red.

"Oh hey, I'm Thea! Who are you?" I asked raising an eyebrow. "I don't think I've seen you here before."

Makai looked up at her with burning eyes. His entire body dissolved into cherry blossoms. The blossoms floated behind her. The blossoms reformed into makai. He leaned into her, "Name's Makai." he sniffed the air and whispered to her, "And i'll say you smell delicious."

"Hmm, what a nice name you got Makai." I smile.

Makai grinned at her from behind. His fangs glistened in the light, "Well thank you Thea-san." He leaned into her, "May i ask what you are doing here?" His hot breath hit her neck.

I sigh. "I live right aroud here." I turn slightly to the right to look at him. "What are you doing here?"

Makai grinned at her. His fangs seemed to have increased in length now being 5cm long. His 7'2 foot form towered over her, "Oh i'm just having a look around. Seeing what i can...take a bite out of."

I rose both of my eyebrow. "Ah I see." I bite down on my lip and look up at him, my eyes were wide with wonder. I smirked slightly.

Makai's eyes looked over her form studying her closely. His eyes moved up and down from head to toe over and over again. His right half of his body dissolved into petals. petals blew over to his scythe. His scythe dissolved into sakura blossoms as well. The blossoms blew back to Makai and reshaped into his right side. he tossed the massive scythe on his back.

I chuckle. "Well now. That's an impressive trick. Impressive scythe too." I say eyeing it.

Makai drew the scythe and grinned, "Want to hold it?" He dropped the scythe onto the ground. The moment the scythe touched the entire area shook. the ground formed web like cracks before it broke. A massive crater stood to the side of Makai and Thea.

My eyes widened, and a smile slowly slid across my face. I reached towards it, feeling excited to be able to hold such an incredible weapon. I grasped the scythe in my hands feeling slightly strong just by holding it.

Makai walked over to her. He placed his hands against her and helped her to lift it, "You may want to be careful it's quite heavy and i do mean it close to 5 tonnes last time i checked." he stood behind her. he released his grip.

I nodded. "Thanks." As soon as he released it I felt the weight come down on me. My hands were shaking a lot, but I stood my ground. "This scythe is amazing." I said softly to him.

Makai smiled from behind her, "Thank you." He leaned forward pressing his body to hers. His right hand came down and grabbed his scythe. he lifted it with ease and tossed it on his back, "You get use to the weight when you use it as much as i do."

I smiled kindly, "I suppose you do. Heh, well sorry if I was bothering you by messing with your weapon, but I just really love strong weapons. They're just so amazing."

Makai chuckled at her. he gripped her shoulders and spun her around. he took a step back, "Don't worry its not everyday i find someone who finds an interest in my scythe."

"Oh okay. Good. Cause I was't really sorry." I smirk.

makai leaned in to her. An arm wrapped around her waist, "Oh you weren't were you. Tut tut tut." He leaned in and blew into her ear.

I flush slightly, then frown. "No, I wasn't." I take a step back and look up at him, with a blank face.

Makai grinned at her showing his fangs, "Quite a firey one aren't you." He took a step forward.

"Hmm...I suppose I am." I toss my head back moving the hair off of my face. "And what's your point?" I raise an eyebrow.

Makai grinned at her flashing his fangs, "Oh nothing really. Just i'm liking your firey attitude." he dissolved into petals appearing behind her.

I quickly spun to face him, my eyes wide. "What are you doing?"

makai chuckled at her. he appeared behind her and whispered, "Oh i'm just intrigued by you." he dissolved into petals again. Petals blew around the area and Thea.

I grabbed a petal in my hand. I looked around wondering where he'd end up next.

Makai appeared behind Thea. A strong arm wrapped around her waist. He leaned in and sniffed her hair, "It's been awhile since i've smelt beautiful."

I pinched the petal tight between my thumb and index finger, and istantly it burn to a crips. I stared at the ashes on my fingers, seemingly to be ignoring him.

Makai grinned as the display, "Now come come Thea-chan temper temper." He leaned and looked her in the eyes.

I leaned away, "Don't make me burn you too." I raised an eyebrow as if to dare him.

Makai flashed in front of her. He cupped her chin with his right hand. He leaned in and whispered, "GO on i dare you."

I smacked his hand away and growled in impatients. Then I turned towards my house deciding it was best to leave.

Makai grinned. Petals blew in the air, "Split World." A green glow encased Makai. THe glow expanded around the area shifting the world. The world around Makai and Thea vanished. The two stood in a lagre Japanes egarden. A japanese style house was across from them. The entire area was covered by nothing but white "Now now we've only just met."

I gasped, and instantly supn to face him, my hair flying around me. "Where are we?" I demanded of him. Everything had changed, it even smelled different.

Makai grinned, "Within an Illusion that is so real that it is.A Real illusion that puts us between worlds. So welcome to my humble aboad. Can i offer you anything? Tea, Coffee, Sake?"

I sneered. "Get rid of this illusion." I said through gritted teeth.

Makai waved one of his hands in front of him, "Come come i think we got off on the foot." Makai smiled at her.
