Round One: Teams are to take a specialized knowledged test that will last for one hour. There are a total of ten questions. The last question will be told by the instructor. Teammates cannot talk to each other during the test. There will be watchers who will be keeping an eye out for cheating. If a person gets three strikes from the watchers for cheating, they will fail the test. All teammates must pass the test in order to move on to the next round.
Round Two: Teams are sent into a forest to take a survival test. The teams must aquire either a heaven or earth scroll from the other teams depending on which they have and get to the center tower. Teams are allowed to use any force necessary to get the scroll they need. If the team is unable to get the scroll and get to the tower in five days, the team will fail.
Round Three: All participants will fight each other in a one-on-one tournament. The participants will fight whoever they are pitted against until one of them gives up or the instructor calls the fight. Those that fight have the opportunity to become the Chuunin even if they lose.
