Doing as I wish

Phobos jumped from tree to tree looking around for something interesting to do. He spotted a small town and stopped. "Hmm. To destroy it or not to destroy it. That is the question."

"I would destroy whether there was evil there or not," he said sternly recognizing one of his cousins.

"You can do fire if you wish. I prefer my lightning."

Phobos sighed. "I prefer to be loud." He raised his bandaged arm. "Lightning style: Lightning Blast Jutsu!" A giant blast of lightning shot through the wall and continued to destroy several more buildings on its path.

He tore off the bandaged arm and threw it away. Then he used a jutsu to make a new bandaged arm appear and attached it to his body.

Phobos ran throughout the town setting buildings ablaze and sending quick bolts of lightning through people's hearts.

Phobos found him and said, "Everyone seems to be dead. I sent out search robots just to be sure."

"My robots can handle." A robot jumped down next to Phobos. "All targets have been eliminated," it said.

He shook his head. "I wouldn't expect you to remember me. I didn't really fit in with the other clan members."

He was surprised. "I wasn't expecting to hear that. They seemed to be at the peak of power."

"Hmmm. I see. Well, I am Phobos Shikyo. Outcast half-breed of the Shikyo clan."

"The head, huh? To be honest I have no respect for any of the other Shikyo members."

"well it's not proof of their power. I was shut out by most of the others because my mother wasn't part of the clan."

"even so. Shikyo got their sharingan from the Uchiha. No one would look down on that. My mother was from the Decodace Clan. They were disrespected in all ways."

"Well I still want no business with any villages. I'm sure Shikyo is still in Kumo."

"Really now? I must say Shikyo has really fallen." He silently sent a robot to find out who was in the tree.

"How so?"

"Hmm. So what do you want from me?"

"Why should I care about the Akatsuki? They have done nothing wrong to me. In fact, I almost joined them once before."

Phobos snickered. "Everyone wants power. In reality, no one ever can fulfill that. There will always be someone stronger. So I don't believe they can succeed."

"That's if they can get him. Word is that the nine-tailed fox is one powerful ninja."

"I see. Then, it's like I said, Akatsuki won't succeed."

"I have faith that no one ever fully succeeds. That's just how the world is."

"Which is?"

He smiled. "A simple goal that proves me wrong. I underestimated your ability to convince others. I'll help your cause."

"All I wanna do is kill. If I can kill at least one Akatsuki. I'll be satisfied."

"The moment will decide on that. Like you said, you can't plan on how."

He gave him a peculiar look. "I enjoy killing but that's not my style."

"I still have no interest. Now, if I can tell you something of interest. I know where a jinchuuriki is who could use our help."

"She is a Mist ninja. I believe her name was Roxanne. A year ago, she was in danger from other ninja. I was passing by and I saved her life. Or so I thought. Later, she told me about how she was a jinchuuriki and that probably would have saved her. Even so, she was grateful and went back on her way. She isn't that strong and would need protection from Akatsuki."

"I will." He turns to a robot. "Is the other still watching her?" "Yes my lord," it said. "Good," Phobos said. Turning to Kurokon, "I kept tabs on her in case someone tried to attack her again."

"Shall we go meet her?"

"What's this for?" He looked it over.

He smiled. "I see. Minato has taught you some techniques."

Phobos was surprised. "Isn't Madara dealing with Akatsuki?"

"As I recall he also wanted Konoha destroyed."

"Hmm. Very well. But I'm watching what happens to her. I'll be the one protecting her, no one else."

Phobos looked to his robots. "We're moving out." They all vanished in a cloud of smoke. He jumped off.

"That was fast."

"I see. We're almost to her."

He looked to Roxanne. "Stay by my side at all times. Follow my instructions and you should be fine."
She smiled and hugged him. "I will."
The two then jumped off towards Kumo.
