{No Death}
The dawn broke, and the sun rose. The small room housed a girl in solitude, hoping to find the answers to her internal demons that plagued her mind. The light broke the horizon, and small rays travelled to the window in the room. The light hit the curtains with little way to travel farther. However, the window was slightly angled at the top and bottom. The rays flowed with the angled windowpane… as if planned. The rays began to find small mirrors placed around the room, and the light travelled along the obvious intentional path. Light began to fill the room, and the girl flipped to the other side to avoid the light, hoping to get another second of darkness to rest. It was a split second, though, and the final mirror shined light onto the girl’s eyelids. She rolled to the other side to avoid the brighter light, but it was futile. She continued to roll, hoping to dodge the rays of light that tried to attack her eyes, and she fell off the bed. With a small grunt, she landed on the floor, less than a foot from the top of her bed. It was all planned, and the girl rose. With a dulled face, she hit a button on the side of the wall, and one of the mirrors slightly shifted, the room becoming dark once more. At that, she opened the curtains and stared lazily at the sky, watching the darkness being filled with light. Shades and tints of pink, orange, yellow, and blue colored the sky. The sunrise was beautiful. Every morning was beautiful. But, the girl was too groggy to appreciate it, just like every other morning.
The girl began her day as any other. Her mind a mess, she trudged to her dresser, where she began to open the drawers and grab her clothes. To begin her montage, she grabbed fresh underwear from the top drawer and closed the drawer again. She then lazily walked to the bathroom, bare feet dragging on the roughly carpeted floor. She tossed her clean underwear on the small counter and slipped off her dirty ones. She then stepped into the small shower, quickly bathing her body, cleaning her smooth skin. The drops of water felt like small kisses to her bare body... as if heaven itself was welcoming her into the morning, cleansing her body of the yesterday's troubles. After her shower, the girl dried off using a fluffy towel that made her smile to the touch, hugging her, warming her, drying her. She dressed herself in the underwear, lacy black that hugged her body. She then stepped from the small bathroom to her dresser, removing more clothes. She tossed a crimson shirt onto her bed with a skirt. She looked to the the small rack in a corner, and she snagged a black hoddie and sweatpants from it. The material was warm, but it was light. She would not overheat in the sun, but she would not freeze in the cold. It was the perfect construction of clothing which made her love it all so much. She tossed the hoodie marked with various zippers onto the bed alond with the sweatpants. The crimson shirt stretched over her head and hugged her body, sliding just over her bra, not covering her stomach. The sleeves existed only until halfway down her upper arms. Even the miniskirt barely covered any of her thighs. Her skin was not pasty white, despite the constant cover that her clothes usually provided. Instead, her skin seemed to like seeing the sun again. But, it would be denied that chance. She slipped on the black sweatpants, slipping it underneath the miniskirt, the legs hanging loosely over her skin, occassionally touching the skin. She also grasped her hoodie and slipped it over her head, too. The sleeves hugged her arms, but they did not suffocate them. Air easily kissed her covered skin. She grasped her cross necklace and kissed it before putting it underneath the front of the hoddie. She finally flipped the hood over her head, sighing with a small smile. She grabbed her black satchel, slipped her feet into her black sandals, and walked out the door.
The destination was the mountains. That was the target place for the day. Kuro easily found herself amongst the unstable rocks on the cliffsides, each one pressing against the fabric of her sandals, molding each step, her skin forced to accomodate. But, it was still pleasureable. Nature was kissing her cheek with the gentle breeze. The sky was slightly darkened by the oncoming clouds, but it did nothing to phase the girl. She merely pressed forward up the mountain, seeing the clouds as more of Nature. Each step shook her satchel, a soft ringing of materials within resonating from the black case hanging loosely from her shoulders. Her purple eyes shined from within the darkness of her hood, gazing upward at the peak of the small mountain. The temperature dropped very gently and comfortably with each step, the actions of nature trying to ease her climb to the peak. The girl breath was as soft as the breeze that kissed her skin through her light clothing. Her chest expanded and reverted with each breath, the exercise not affecting her. Her physical stamina was very high. She had trained her body very well to take the foes of fatigue and weakness. Her physical condition was ripe, her body prime. There was no excuse not to make it to the top. Even the steepest slopes did not hinder her. She found the appropriate grips within the mountain and continued to climb, knowing full and well that there was a leisurely slope on the other side of the mountain, pointing away from Konohagakure no Sato. Each grasp of each grip made her that much closer. And, eventually, one of her hands grasped the top of the incline, pulling hersself up to the plateau. She was at the highest flat spot on the mountain, her goal. She sat and leaned against one of the few trees on the flat piece of land. She pulled out her notebook and began to write in it. There was a very flat trail on the other side, but she doubted that anyone would go up the mountain that day.... It just didn't fit the lifestyle of the people of Konohagakure no Sato. However, anyone else most likely would if {s}he were looking for a great place to view the sunrise and relax....
