At The Pool [open]

Akane and Mei, the two sisters from the Snow, were lying on a pair of sun loungers. Akane's jet black hair hung messily over the side of her one while Mei's silver hair was delicately and neatly lying across her shoulders and arms. Both twins wore similar bikini's, with only a difference in colors. Akane's was red with black detailing across the top and Mei's was blue with white detailing across the top. Akane let out a contented sigh, looking up at the sky. "Y'know, Mei...It's been so long since i've seen a cloudless sky...The Snow is always covered by clouds," She said to her sister thoughtfully. Mei let out a 'hn' in reply as she stretched. Akane knew her well enough to know that her sister was agreeing with her and smiled, her ruby red eyes examining everything within her line of sight. Mei's sapphire blue eyes, on the other hand, watched her with curiousity. Akane had been very bubbly over the past few days, almost childlike. It was confusing her sister greatly. What was making her so different these days? Maybe all the good weather was going to her head. Mei hoped not. She preferred silence to be truthful.

Mei sighed and sat up, pushing her glasses up the bridge of her nose slightly. She looked around and saw nobody else in the pool, or around it for that matter. Strange, it was a lovely day, normally it would be heaving with people. She got up and sat at the side of the pool, letting her legs be submerged in water up to just below the knee. Akane yawned noisily and stretched like her sister had done a few moments ago, sipping her lemonade before sighing in content. This was the life, although she DID miss the snow and the cold. It mightve been really...REALLY cold but it was home.
