Practice Test- Huang versus Tomoko

A young man clothed in black and wearing a mask was sitting in a tree amongst many trees of similiar look and size. The sun was just setting and the shadows were nice and long, helping the young man blend in with his surroundings. He had gotten there earlier then his opponent so he could set up numerous traps in the forest and now it was only a matter of waiting for his opponent to appear and hopefully he or she won't die on the way here.

Tomoko strolled among the trees, her eyes closed as she listened to the sounds around her. She heard the rustling of trees and the grass as she walked. "Hm.." She opened her eyes and scanned the area with crystal blue eyes. "Okay. Where are you?" Tomo looked into a tree and grinned, seeing the outline of the male's form. "Found ya~" She smirked.

The figure noticed another figure looking at him, it seems the figure is a she. What she did not know was that she was surrounded by around 5 different trip wire traps which would result in multiple explosive tags in going off. Other traps might unleash thrown shurikens and kunais or might even capture his opponent leaving them helpless. In fact one of these was right below the tree which the teenager was sitting in. A flash of white in the corner of his opponent's face revealed to him a smirk, and yet he simply raised an eyebrow from behind his mask and made a quick wave with his black gloved hand at his opponent. "You ready to begin?"

Tomoko grinned and nodded. She wondered why the other guy was so calm. "..." Tomoko quickly rescanned the area around her but didn't notice anything strange. She turned her gaze back to the figure. "So lets go." Her hands seem to vanish as she swipped a shuriken from her holster and thhrew it at the male's mask.

There was more to his position, then he gave away; the shuriken sped past his mask as the young man fell backwards his leggs keeping him attached to the tree. The shuriken continued on to cut a trip wire which unleashed multiple shuriken back at his opponent in the same direction. As this was going on the young man let go of the branch and flipped down to the ground and waited for his opponent to attempt a dodge.

Tomoko heard the skuriken cut something, "Oh crap!" She lunged backwards, staying low to the ground then lunging up into the trees. Tomo stayed silent, hoping she was hidden and studied her oppenent. She thought to herself, He..he put traps in here before I even showed up! What a pain!! Grr..

Tomoko lunged from the tree, towards the male's form, holding her fist back as if she were going to strike him.

Another raise eyebrow as another trap was sprung as his opponent tripped a motion trap which sent a kunai attached to a stick hurtling from below in a stabbing motion at her chest. A punji trap was one of his speciallties and so were explosive traps though that will come later in the match. He crossed his arms and waited for his opponent to throw herself out of the way of the trap, though he was quite prepared for that eventuality.

Tomoko's crystal eyes caught the glimmer of a kunai blade. "Crap crap!" Tomoko lowered her arms and hugged her body and started to spin to the side, the kunai caught her shoulder and left a large cut. She dropped to the ground and pulled out two kunai, preparing for another trap. "...Heh..Setting traps? Ya chicken to fight me yourself huh?"

"Actually, I'm just taking a nap while you dance around," the young man replied as he said this he pulled a wire himself causing more shuriken to be flung at his opponent this time from behind. He was about to run out of regular traps and the young man will be forced to engage his opponent for a shor time and to maneuver her into the new area of traps. Fortunately there are plently of untripped traps scattered amongst the forest and he knew where most of them were.

"Grr ya punk.." Tomoko heard the shuriken deploy and spun around, blocking two but getting sliced by the rest. "Dang!" Her eyes fluttered and she fell to a knee, yanking a shuriken from her arm and throwing it at the masked male. "Quit playin games!"

The young man simply stepped away from the intended target area and watched as the shuriken went right on by. Time to begin phase 2 of engagement, he quickly tossed a few shuriken at his opponent on the run heading into the forest area. He paused behind a tree still within view of the clearing and palmed a slightly longer then normal kunai which was attached to a wire attached to his wrist and waited for his opponent to either stay where she was or come after him.

Tomoko hesitated. If she followed him, there would probably be more traps, if she stayed, she'd lose sight of him. Gripping her kunai tighter Tomo lunged foreward and then up into the branches of a tree. Kicking off the tree she shot her form at the masked male, throwing the kunai at his mask, "Got-cha!"

An arial attack? How primitive... A simple step away from the target zone unleashed from the ground 4 spring loaded shuriken which shot up toward his opponent. Once again the young man waited for his opponent to display some tactics. Its probably a clone, oh well... Not like there's not other traps within the area. A few steps to the left was a trap hole with sharpen stakes at the bottom and a step to the back was a trip wire for an explosive tag trap.

Tomoko's crystal eyes widen as the shuriken flew towards her, she threw her second kunai to deflect the closest shuriken before forming serval handsigns. "Subsitution!" The three shuriken stabbed into her body and it exploded into smoke, a straw dummy fell to the ground.

Tomoko hid low in a bush near the male's position. She remained silent and formed serval more handsigns. Then lunged at his legs with a kunai drawn, she slashes at his knees. "Ha!"

The young man jumped back out of the way and triggered that one explosive trap which was behind him. The explosives were set up so the main force of the blast was directed in mutliple directions at once except for up, due to the positioning of the explosive tags on nearby objects. The teenager even tossed a few explosive tagged kunai during his dodge, making sure his opponent would be destroyed though the possibility of another substitution or clone was quite possible so he finally tapped his powers and threw a few shuriken up in the air where they hovered over his shoulders waiting for his direction.
