Huang versus DCP Empty
PostSubject: Huang versus DCP   Huang versus DCP EmptySat Nov 14, 2009 7:11 pm

The desert wind swept across the barren land like the fury of a goddess enraged with what has happened to the once beautiful land. The desert stretched on for days, a golden sea with waves of sand flowing up and down in graceful lines. To those who do not live in the desert would not see the beauty of the desert, but to Huang, the desert was the vision of beauty in which all other ideas of beauty were born from. A desert hawk could be seen riding the thermals in the sky, a graceful predator, Huang watched it suddenly fold its wings and dive down to the ground and soon lost sight of it as the hawk went behind a sand dune.

Huang was standing on top of a dune, his black clothes did nothing to hide him from plain sight, but he did not care. He knew this desert like it was his home and for all intents and purposes this was his home. Huang’s eyes strayed from the clear blue sky and shifted their gaze to the surrounding area. He was waiting for another opponent and he hoped he or she did not accidently step on one of his traps which he set up within 50 kilometers of where he stood. The number of traps was not what it normally was; instead Huang decided that it was to unveil another aspect of his technique. Numerous kunai have been tied to various spools of ninja wire which were hidden on various parts of his vest which was underneath his black cloak and up his sleeves. Now it was time to wait.

[No Death]

The winds playfully dance along the dunes that lied in the wasteland, that sea of sand. The golden ground seemed to stretch forever, each step not getting any closer to salvation. Each crunching sound marked one more foot from the forests, the sanctuary from the sun. But, there in the desert, the sun laid waste to all who were ill-prepared. The merciless sun attacked all who tread on the scorching plain, that shining mirror that reflected a golden light from the surface. Not only was there the sun about which to worry, but there was also the reflected heat from the sand. If it were not for footwear, anyone crossing the desert would have lost all feeling in the feet and mostly likely have blisters and burned skin. But, there were those who prepared. Those who were prepared were hydrated. Those who were prepared had appropriate clothing. Those who were prepared would survive. Thus was how two people in the desert were; they were prepared.

A black spec appeared on the dunes. The black spec slowly made it way across the wasteland toward the village of Sunagakure no Sato. Soon, that black spec turned into many black specs, and there were soon five. Each one was of varying height, and each had barely visible cloaks on their bodies from a distance. The cloaked figures trudged onward through the scorching day. Each one had a different type of step. One of them, the tallest, had a confident and sort of nonchalant behavior to the stride. This person was obviously a man by stature, and he carried himself well. One would've guessed that he was a Jounin. His stride was very strong, and he was just behind the leader of the group. Behind this strong man was another person who carried well. This person was most likely a Jounin, too. This person was a bit ambiguous in stature and stance, one not knowing whether the person was a male or female, but it was obvious that the person was a Jounin by the experience and confidence. There were two more behind the two Jounin, both obviously less in experience but still trained well. They both had an almost arrogance to their steps. One would've guessed that both were Genin or Chuunin, but one would be correct to label them as Chuunin. Their stature and stance as they walked was one of annoyance, obviously the first time in the desert. Yet, they were overly peppy, waiting for something to happen. Then, there was the one cloaked figure in the front. This one wasn't confident, but it wasn't peppy. It wasn't even defeated by the desert. This one was solemn, patient, and rather wise. The stature was small, so one would've guessed that this person was an older man who knew what he was doing. All five approached as one unit. All five seemed to move as one corps even though they were each individuals of different persona.

The five of them approached the dunes where the sole person was. Each of them reacted in a different way. The two Jounin stopped and looked up slightly, but they did not move besides that. The two Chuunin took a few extra steps as they looked to see the person on the dune. The seemingly old man in the front merely stopped, though. He remained with his head looking down at the sands... as though he knew to expect this person. One of the two Chuunin had a smirk on his face, and he recklessly charged immediately for the person on the dune, careless, unaware of the many traps laid before him. The other Chuunin seemed to stare with anticipation, awaiting for results. The two Jounin almost gasps and jumped, ready to stop the foolish Chuunin. However, the leader of the group stuck out an arm to stop the Jounin from helping. This Chuunin would run into the traps on his own and suffer accordingly. It was brutal, but he would need to learn from his mistakes the hard way.

[State what happened to the poor, foolish Chuunin.... You'll get your fight.]

As Huang’s eyes surveyed the land before him, five figures rose on the horizon and slowly made their way to his dune. The group passed over several explosive traps without incident, a raised eyebrow from Huang met this revelation. Five on one seemed a tad excessive to the untrained eye, but those who were fellow ninja would see a totally different scenario. Around two dozen traps involving sharp flying objects, a dozen explosive traps, sinkhole traps, and a crap load of punji traps. Most of those ninja observers would think along the lines of, ‘Holy hell! How did he get all of that together?’ The rest would faint in horror. The only answer Huang would give these ninja was a raised eyebrow of mild surprise.

And so as the group finally stopped their trek at the bottom of his dune and a figure broke off the group, in a rush to reach Huang. He only raised an eyebrow as the young ninja triggered two traps with the passing of his weight which launched multiple shuriken from out of the sand. A sigh escaped from Huang’s lips as he observed what would happen next. It seemed to him that the other villages were creating idiotic ninja at a rapid rate. Perhaps it was to have the advantage of numbers or the advantage of having options, he didn’t really know, but what he did know was that the village where these ninjas come from was about to lose another ninja.

The group knew what was going to happen to their comrade. The only question was how it would be done. The two Jounin looked sternly at the charging youth, and the other Chuunin shook with fear. Even he knew that it was a bad idea. But, the reckless continued to charge. The leader of the group continued to keep head down, entire body covered by the black cloak. The charging Chuunin finally trigger a couple of traps. A small snapping noise occurred, and the charging Chuunin knew that he was in for a world of hurt. He spun around, the cloak whipping around his body so that he could see the oncoming trap. The shuriken stars arose from their sandy ambush, rising at striking at the reckless youth. The youth quickly jumped from the path of the shuriken stars, just to land on another trap that exploded shuriken stars directly underneath him. More traps went off besides him, too. His eyes shined in the darkness underneath the hood as the shuriken stars sliced into and through his cloak, blood flying out of his cloak on both sides. He was not dead, but he would need medical attention soon. Quickly, the other Chuunin rushed to the downed youth and held him close. The healthy Chuunin cried with the downed youth in his arms. The Jounin were ready to take to the field when the leader jumped through the air and landed next to the two Chuunin. The person looked down on the wounded, seeing that the boy would survive with medical treatment. The leader then looked to the two Jounin and nodded. In a flash, the two Jounin picked up the downed Chuunin and made their way to safety, leaving the leader with the opponent.

The leader was actually a little smaller in person, but the cloak kept the leader completely covered. The leader was wise. The leader was quite intelligent. The leader was confident but weary at the same time. The opponent was there, waiting, gauging the enemy's strength. Of course, the leader was ready overall.

Huang watched his first opponent get hit by his traps, as expected. He was disappointed that this one didn’t have some trick up his or her sleeve; some kind of substitution jutsu attack combo, that is what his opponents normally do. He continued watching as the two other ninja rush forward, but were stopped before they stepped on an explosive trap by the supposed leader of the group. The three of them dragged their wounded comrade away from the base of the dune. Huang figured that they were having some kind of strategy session, to see what their options were or lack of options depending.

He decided to speed things along by sending them a little message. Huang took out two explosive tags and attached them together so that only the white side of the tag was showing. Now the two tags looked like an odd sheet of paper. He then wrote out his message on one side of the tags and attached the whole thing to a kunai. Huang gauged the distance and how fast the wind was blowing, then threw the kunai slightly to the side so that the wind carried the kunai with its message to the group. The tags fluttered behind the kunai as it dropped somewhat in front of the group, the message read, “Do you happen to have 5 million ryo in cash on you?” After 20 seconds of being picked up, the two tags would explode destroying the group or some of them at the least. That was the plan at the moment.
